what hygienic manicure is

The word manicure comes from the Latin “manus” - hand and “cura” - care. So manicure is the care for the skin of the hands and nails, which includes:

shaping and filing the nails, caring for the cuticle, caring for the skin of the hands and could be applying decorative coatings like

as regular nail polish (airdry and remore with non acetone remover)

as japanese paste and powder ( don’t need to remove)

as soft gel polish (needed to remove by machine or gel polish remover)

as builder gel \ acrylic (needed to remove by machine\ file only)

as deep powder (needed to remove by machine or gel polish remover)

as nail stickers or nail wraps (needed to remove with gel polish remover)

Many nail coating are relatively new, while some have been around for decades. Regular nail polish was patented in 1914 , with a modern formula developed by Revlon in 1934. In 1954, acrylic and gel nails gained popularity in the 1990s and continue to evolve today.

The Japanese technique, patented in 1958, has ancient rootsand is ideal for strengthening brittle nails, improving their appearance, and promoting growth.

New coatings continue to emerge to meet diverse needs, reflecting the ever-evolving world of the nail care.

Most importantly, a hygienic manicure has always been - and continues to be - the essential and highly respected foundation of proper nail care.

We must also remember that each of these coatings requires skill and knowledge to remove it from the nail plate without causing damage.
